A native of Baltimore Maryland; Von began his interest in drums at the early age of two. Inheriting his skills from his farther (a professional jazz drummer) James “Peanut” Saunderlin, Von began mastering the drums in grade school and went on to attend the advance music career program at Fredrick Douglass High School as a percussion major. Continuing his studies he enrolled in the Bowie State University music program and thereafter received a scholarship to attend classes at Peabody Conservatory of Music......

Von drum kit is setup as an 8 peace Peal custom series including eight cymbal rack, two snares drums, DW double bass pedal and uses percussion accessories when needed.
